Hi - does anyone have a WG 25K7181 manual? Failing that - any manual for
a WG monitor that uses the 69X1712-100 chassis?

I have what is labelled as a 7181 in a machine, big 27" screen, which arcs
madly from a component near the lopt - I suspect it needs changing..
Trouble is, I've no idea what the part numbers for the parts are, without
the monitor manual. Knowing of any donor would do too.

thanks,
james

Use the K7000 manual for general troubleshooting. You can download
that at www.mikesarcade.com

Then visit www.jstookey.com/arcade/WG_25k7191/ for the schematic and
other info on the 7191, 7193, 7194, 7197 models. Chances are that
critical safety cap could be shot (C36/C69). Bob Roberts' website
(www.dameon.net/BBBB/) has information on those critical safty caps,
but you have to search for it.

Mainly, you use the 25k7191 schematics in conjunction with the k7000
manual.

You sure the flyback itself is not arcing? The k7000 flybacks are now
a high failure item, but not failing as much as Electrohome flybacks.
You can buy the k7000 series flybacks (which is what your monitor
uses) from Zanen Electronics and Bob Roberts.
