I recently aquired a Cruisin World conversion everything works fine
except the force feedback is not working and also this game does not
have the shifter (automatic mode). I am hoping someone on this group
can help me trouble shoot the problem with force feedback and add the
four speed shifter.

What software version does your game have? Is the cab a converted
Hyperdrive?

Forced feedback problems could be a lot of things. Stuff unplugged, bad
motor, bad belt, bad driver board, cables not plugged in right....

Yes it was converted from a Hyperdrive, If I remember correctly it
shows version 2.6 while booting up. All cables are connected, belt is
intact, LED on the driver board is lit.

Did the Hyperdrive machines have force feedback steering? because my
driver is little bit different than the board they have showing in the
Crius'n World Manual.

Hyperdrive did have force feedback but if the guy that installed the kit
into the game didn't replace the PIC on the driver board your not going to
get anything from it outside of minor tension.

Also, there's no place to put a shifter which is why it doesn't have one. If
you want to add it you'll have to change to version 2.4 software in order to
enable the shifter.

What is the correct PIC on the driver board? my driver board has a F3
(fuse slot) but there is no fuse in place. The driver board in my
Cruis'n manual does not show a third fuse on the driver board.

If it was a Converted Hyper Drive, Check the feedback board and see
what the revision of the chip on the board is maybe who ever did the
conversion did not change the IC's and you will have no feedback or
maybe the cable is not connected fully or backwards

I have a converted Hyperdrive and had to get a Cruisn control panel to
add the shifter and I think I had to change an IC or two? don't
remember it was 6-7 years ago. I still have one in the auto shifter
version
